Apple sued over iPhone 3G problems

It had to happen, really. After all the to-ing and fro-ing with the iPhone’s 3G problemsfixes, Apple is now being sued by a disgruntled iPhone user who claims that the 3G connection the iPhone delivers is slower than advertised, reports news.com.

The user – a woman from Alabama – is apparently not impressed with Apple’s claim the device is ‘twice as fast at half the price’ and reports dropped calls and slow data connection.

The woman is seeking class action status for her complaint – if that goes through, the complaint could potentially cost Apple millions in the event the judge finds in favour of the complainant.
