The BBC’s Peter Mercier on his first pair of Nokias

I met BBC Worldwide Head of Mobile, Peter Mercier today. Great chap. More to do on him shortly.

However one thing I forgot to write down in my notes and wanted to get down on to the site here was about Peter’s first pair of Nokias.

He had a pair of Nokia gardening boots. I think these may well be them. He reckoned they were orange and he got them in 1986.

I wonder what firmware they were running, eh?
