How the new iPhone 5 fixes antenna problem (Photo)

Fast becoming one of Apple’s most derided launches of recent years, the iPhone 4’s ‘just hold it another way‘ problem has been a boon to competitors looking for a chink in the armour as I recorded last week in San Diego.

So here’s a photo (above) of what the iPhone 5 might look like. Click through for the full picture on Flickr. Maybe that modification might fix things, eh?

Kudos to kirai and OscarB for finding this.

  1. I honestly can't believe that anyone of any intelligence even slightly believes Apple's lies, sorry explanation, about the signal bars being drawn wrong on the display. Given the numerous videos floating about, not to mention the load of user reports, of calls and data connections quite clearly failing when the iPhone is held at the sides (as most people would), it would take someone with an extremely low IQ, or a particularly severe case of fanboyism to believe it.

All I can say is bring on the class action lawsuits. Apple deserve everything they're going to get. The Emperor really does have no clothes and is about to be exposed.
