Fresh Mobile online top up repeatedly WON’T WORK

Picture_9_3
Just in case anyone at Fresh Mobile is wondering why my account is set at £0.03, it’s because your online top up system doesn’t work.

And I cannot be bothered to make a trip to a Carphone Warehouse to do a top up.  OR type in my credit card details over the phone ONLY to have your system say ‘There has been a problem with a security check on your account’.

Why are you making this my problem?   The fact YOUR system’s security protocols are screwed up is absolutely no concern of mine.  I don’t care, I’m trying to give you money.  T-Mobile’s taking my cash fine.

Sometimes the Fresh Mobile online payment thing works. Sometimes it doesn’t.  For the last 2 months or so it hasn’t worked at all.  All I wanted to do was put on a few quid so I could respond to texts.

Surely if someone wants to GIVE you money, you should make it easy.  Their system should have flagged up that I’ve been trying to add credit to the account for months.  Someone should have phoned me right away to sort it out.  Cashflow, man. Cashflow.

This is a good reason why so many people get annoyed with their service providers.  Me? Well… T-mobile launched their unlimited data plan and now I only use my Fresh mobile for incoming calls.

Coulda-been-a-contender.

  1. Exactly!!

I have had the same problems as above and I would like to add that I have found it impossible to activate voice-mail with Fresh…
In desperation I took my phone to CarPhone Warehouse and they could not do anything either!
Overall the most useless service I have ever encountered.
Does anyone know if I am able to transfer my Fresh number to another provider?? I cannot stand another moment of this service!!!

    Alan

  2. I have the same problem too. this is so annoying i have been on the phone to them repeatedly over it and it still wont work. I also rang them to get the picture settings for my new phone and instead of sending me them i have to send a code to them to retrieve them but that costs money and they cant top me up? Im seriously considering moving networks and taking my number with me!

  3. Anyone else getting chased by Fresh for outstanding PAYG debt? They are chasing me for a ‘deb’ that is over two years old. yet i never entered into a credit agreement with them. It was a £10 PAYG deal through a CPW shop. I wasn’t told the tarrif, just that calls were 10 pence a minute and texts 5 pence. Yet they claim i owe them opver £60!! There’s a breach of several acts and i won’t be paying as i belive i am protected under consumer law. Anyone else getting threatening letters?

  4. I bought my Fresh phone 2 weeks ago, at first it was just my voicemail that didnt work.

Then, I found I couldnt text, and then it got worse, when i try to call people i hear ‘sorry calls to this number are bared from your phone”. Also, people cant connect when they try to ring me, they hear a similar message.

I had an interview for other week for a wickid job, but they couldnt contact me for a week so i may have missed out, becuse of fresh!

    DO NOT BUY

I am going to get it unlocked as soon as I can and put a diff network SIM in, tried last week but the guy at the markey said my handset was too new.. frustration! next time I’ll buy a cheap SIM off the market and a handset off Ebay,

  5. oh PS

I cant even call the fresh customer services number, I get the same error message,

and I email customer services and the email bounced! DO NOT BUY!

  6. I went to a carphone warehouse shop 3-4 weeks ago and put £20 on the phone. I hardly use it and for the last couple of weeks Icant get any service. There is nothing wrong with the phone, and I am reluctant to put more money on as normally £10 lasts me for m onths.

    Rubbish service!

  7. I’m frustrated too by this service. It’s down again today and I’ve been checking it all day. Grrr, sort it out Fresh!
