Link: large company looking to sponsor artists for one off event.
If you know anyone who’s dabbled in a bit of mobile technology related art and/or creativity, it might be worth asking them to contact this Craigslist poster. There’s a big multinational with, one imagines, flippin’ great wads of cash, ready to help bring your concept into reality.
I work for an agency who is working on behalf of a large multinational technology company looking to host an exhibit of interesting contemporary/digital/multimedia events/pieces or installations in the UK later this year.
While this brief sounds vague, truth is we are looking to hear from a wide range of people who would like to be given space/money to exhibit their work.
This may be:
1) People who have ideas they would like to implement.
2) People who have work they would like bought or hosted.
3) People who have work they have exhibited but would like to display again.Ideally you will have a track record or some other way to demonstrate credibility and substance, but the main criteria will be the quality of the idea.
The most important thing is that these are ideas or works based on either the notion of communication or looking at the world in a new way.
The pieces must be pioneering, have some element of technology and be able to be exhibited somehow in a physical manner.
Example ideas we are chasing up are: Maps of peoples’ movements generated by signals from their mobile phones, technology that changes photos taken into sound.
Mobile technology artists art required

Good day.
My name is Ziggy and I am one of two owners of an Iceland based media company called Side Circle Media.
We are looking for advertisement/sponsorship for two projects. These projects are an online Tv station with lowbudget material called WaveTv and the online rock magazine Plush Rock
WaveTv is an online Tv station with lowbudget material. Simulair to youtube but with a Tv program. We work on international level so we can have shows and shortfilms from all over the world. Our rules for having show on WaveTv is that if you have a Tv show then we need atlesat three shows and every show need to be about 10 min long. We go over the material and try to show everything. But at most we will have five different shows per week and one shortfilm. We need to have a program so the filmmakers get their air time and it will be easy to find the material but it dosen´t fall into a pit with hundreads of other videos. We will open the station in next week with two shows and one short film. One show is a stunt/crazy show from boys in Israel called FYM Team and the other is a talk show comidy from boys that call themself NYC District. The first short film is from one of the top young filmmaker in Iceland. Big attention has been brought in the media about his shortfilm called Seeds and all good reviews. Later we add a musicshow from Mack Maloney but he is a known author that is making his first cd, a band from Norway is editing their show about their tour in Iceland and we, the two owners are filmmakers students in the icelandic filmmaking school and doing well if I say so myself. I made an agreement with them that we can access cameras and studio for any WaveTv project that we are doing. Next week we start making a show for the station. Here is a link to the website demo on how the site will look like. http://www.krypton.is/wavetv/index.html
Plush Rock is an online rock magazine. We put up a preview site on how it would work and we most 500 vistis per month. But it was not advertised and just a preview. We are making a better site and will start full time again soon. Here is the link to the site http://www.plush-rock.com
I am telling you all this because we are looking for advertisments on the site or sponsership for the sites and wanted to know if you would be interested.
