Carphone Warehouse’s non-Vodafone stall

Walking past the Carphone Warehouse this evening — after I’d finished my meal and the store was closed — I took some time to stare in the window.

My eye was caught by some reddish point-of-sale on the left side of the store.

We are all trained to equate ‘red’ with Vodafone.

I genuinely thought, ‘Oh, … they’re selling Vodafone??’ and looked closer to investigate.

It wasn’t Vodafone at all, of course, since they lost the contract.

Looked like it though. Next time I’ll take a picture.

You’d think they’d want to stay well away from red with their point-of-sale.
