Invisibly protect your Windows phone if stolen with SecretSMS

Link: msmobiles.com – Phone Security System and SecretSMS released

Here comes SMS and SIM protection software and it works for both Windows Mobile platforms: Pocket PC phone and MS Smartphone.

Paul of NTS Telecom is particularly enamoured with SecretSMS, commenting:

This program runs absolutely invisible and tracks inserted SIM cards and if unknown one is inserted (i.e. device is stolen) sends sms, call logs etc to disclose the criminal.

If you’re a Windows Mobile or SmartPhone user and you’re concerned about security, do check out SecretSMS.

  1. Great idea.

That software should be expanded to react when a certain SMS sequence is sent to it. It could delete all data if required.
Could also be implemented on future notebooks too (lets assume they’ll all have a cellular data modem in them in a few years.)

    Steve.
