While I was watching the Omnilert story I caught an advert for the CBS News To Go service. It apparently provides you with free wireless video and photo news alerts — all you have to do is take care of your carrier data bills — apart from that and standard network charges, it’s essentially free.
That could be a rather cool service.
Obviously if you’re in Canada, you need to get yourself your very own Mark 7 Carrier Pigeon to deliver your ‘real time’ news, because it’s far too expensive to use data there.
