Sonus PR, the telecom hot shots, are hosting a networking get together this afternoon
It’ll be an excellent opportunity to have a chat to some o2 people, particularly given the amount of spanking I’ve been giving their styooooopid subscribers for continuing to pay ridiculous data rates (“All together now: YOU’RE ALL CHUMPS!!”). As for o2 themselves, much kudos is in order for being able to say ‘Sorry sir, it’s 75 quid a month if you want unlimited data’ with a straight face to their customers. I think o2’s head of monthly subscribers should be given a special award for being so well tuned to his/her customers to know that introducing an unlimited data package for everyone isn’t necessarily the right time. They’re all fine paying per meg at the moment!
So, given the opportunity, I will definitely tell them how impressed I am.
I will also take the opportunity to yell chhhhhhuuUUUUUMMMMPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP at any o2 subscribers complaining about data charges that I come into contact with. Gonna take along the N95 too.

I have 5 more months left on my contract (of 15 years custom I might add) and if they don’t change their prices within that time I’m off to 3 and that will be that.
